Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
Stir together:
- Stir together flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl and set aside.
Combine with electric mixer:
- In a mixing bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and eggs. Beat on high speed until light and fluffy. About 2 minutes.
- Continue mixing on low and gradually add flour mixture about 1/3 cup at a time. Mix until all flour is incorporated. Add vanilla, chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake:
- Gently shape dough into ball (about the size of a golf ball). Place on parchment paper line cookie sheet, Flatten ball slightly with your fingers. Sprinkle sea salt generously on cookie (optional but recommended). Bake for 12 - 13 minutes.
