Ingredients
  

  • 4 pork chops 5/8 inch thick
  • 2 T vegetable oil
  • 3 c bread crumb stuffing
  • 1/3 c butter melted
  • 1/4 c onion chopped
  • 1/3 c celery chopped
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple chopped
  • 1/2 c chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1/4 c water

Equipment

  • 1 9 x 13 baking dish
  • 1 skillet

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°. Grease oblong baking dish.
Prepare pork chops:
  1. Brown pork chops in vegetable oil on both sides.
Prepare stuffing:
  1. Combine bread crumbs, melted butter, onion, celery, apple and 1/2 chicken broth.
  2. Divide stuffing into four portions. Place a mound of stuffing on each pork chop.
Prepare soup mixture:
  1. Gradually stir 1/4 cup water into cream of celery soup. Mix well. Pour soup mixture over pork chops.
  2. Bake for 1 hour.
